When we talk about the most powerful mantra, many mantras come in front of us, about which people talk. But Gayatri Mantra is considered by most of the people as one of the most powerful mantras. Gayatri Mantra originated from Vedas. Especially from Rigveda and Yajurveda. In fact, the oldest scriptures are like a storehouse of mantras in Vedas or it can also be said that it is the origin place of mantras. Gayatri Mantra
Gayatri Mantra comes in the greatest and most powerful mantras of Hinduism. It originated from the Vedas. Although this mantra does not come from any one Veda, this mantra is composed of the mantras of Rigveda and Yajurveda. Its importance is considered similar to that of the most sacred chant of OM in Hinduism. The mantra used in this is Yajurveda’s mantra Om Bhurbhuvah Swah and Rigveda’s verse 3.62.10 (Tatsaviturvarenya Bhargo Devasya: Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat) and the combination of these two makes Gayatri Mantra. Gayatri Mantra is also called Savitri Mantra because Savitri Dev has been worshiped in it. Savitri Dev is considered as the solar deity according to Rigveda. People who believe in Hinduism believe that by chanting and understanding this mantra, God and his blessings are received. This mantra is also chanted in the form of Shri Gayatri i.e. female.
Meaning of Gayatri Mantra
The Gayatri Mantra, which is considered to be the most powerful mantra in the world, worships the Supreme God. But there is a special thing in this, no deity has been invoked clearly in this mantra. Although some people believe that Sun God has been worshiped in this, but it has been revealed in the form of a meaning. The meaning of the words of Gayatri Mantra is as follows: –
